Year of the Environment Award

Spirit of Merseyside Awards
Rotters & Come Alive at 55 group at the "Spirit of Merseyside Awards" June 2010. The group achieved a second place in the "Green Machine Award" category.
European Neighbours Day
The Rotters stand at the European Neighbours day 4TH June 2010 Held at Parklands Speke.
School pupils, parents and local councillors worked alongside volunteers from Long Lane church, Rotters Community Composting and the South Liverpool Neighbourhood team to plant up the containers Artist Andrew Hopper from the Four corners community arts project and Rotters helped design the artwork for the planters. The plants have been generously donated by Dobbies Garden Centre Speke. Themes for the design were the Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
